The show is entirely virtual, with over 1200 classic boats joined by festivals, boatbuilders, clubs and museums – not to mention magazines! Gates open on 16 February and each of the first ten days of the show will feature a new presentation or video event from industry experts.
Everything is centred around a huge interactive world map, with individual pages for each participant filled with information, photos and videos. Visitors can browse the map or use the search tool to find organisations or sort boats by size, type, rig, decade built and more.
The show’s digital ‘tickets’ grant full access to the boat show’s website for the duration of the show, including unlimited access to the live and archived presentations. This year’s line-up includes Golden Globe race winner Kirsten Neuschäfer and Pacific Ocean rower Tom Robinson, a panel hosted by Women in Boatbuilding’s Belinda Joslin, plus talks from intrepid sailor explorers and dinghy cruisers.
Founded by a group of like-minded maritime writers, photographers, boatbuilders and filmmakers, Off Center Harbour is a membership-driven website with a carefully produced and curated collection of more than 1000 videos and articles featuring classic boats, boating and boatbuilding. The mission of the show is “to bring the world of classic boats closer together”, by connecting enthusiasts and professionals across the globe.
